As the Web Master of a leading online brand, you will have a passion for the web and take pride in your work.
Leveraging of your internet knowledge you will be reasonable for day to day administration of the site and also add valuable input to the online marketing strategies and interface design / usability of the site. You will be responsible for managing development projects in liaising regularly with the software developers to ensure projects / site enhancements are a success and of the highest quality. Strong knowledge of the web is needed.
Ideally you will have previously worked in a development role liaising with the all areas of business (marketing, management, development etc).
This role would suit a web designer as your skills in HTML, XHTML, CSS, validation, graphic design and requirement gathering skills will be a huge advantage and directly transferable to this role.
Experience in .net, search engine optimisation (Google, Yahoo etc) and Search marketing (PPC, online advertising) is advantageous but not crucial to wining this role.
